Canada region leadership

My name is Scheldyn Curtiss, I am the owner and founder of Up North Presa Canario. We have been involved in the Presa Canario breed since 2012; what attracted me to the breed was its commanding presence and exceptional temperament. I come from a background that was heavily involved in ethical dog breeding — my father and brother bred German Shepherds and Rottweilers — so the move to the Presa Canario for myself was a no-brainer. Our goal is to breed functional Presa Canarios with the health behind them, and to preserve, protect, and spread knowledge about this amazing breed, a breed that commands respect. The team at APCA is here to unify this breed and come together as a collective to work together and put the work in for the betterment of the breed we all came to love, the Perro de Presa Canario.
